    Hi, I’m Sagar, Founder of Nandi.

    Nandi started with a question I couldn’t ignore—
    why did real, locally pressed oil taste richer than what we’d come to accept as normal?

    I grew up around food made slowly and honestly.
    No labels, no claims—just processes that respected the ingredient.

    Somewhere along the way, we replaced that with convenience.

    The moment I experienced true cold-pressed oil again, I knew—
    nothing was wrong with the food. We had just moved away from how it was meant to be made.

    So we went back.

    At Nandi, we use traditional methods—wood cold pressing, unpolished grains, and careful sourcing.
    No refining. No additives. No shortcuts.

    Nandi was born from a simple belief — that the best food needs nothing added and nothing taken away. We saw a market full of refined, processed oils and polished rice, and we asked: what happened to the real thing?So we went back to the source. Back to Indian farms, traditional chekku presses, and cold pressing methods that have existed for centuries. We didn't reinvent anything. We just refused to compromise.

    Healthy doesn't have to be complicated.

    Our oils are Chekku cold pressed — an ancient wood-press method that extracts oil at temperatures below 40°C. No refining. No bleaching. No deodorising.

    Our rice is carefully sorted and packed without polishing agents, preserving the natural texture and nutrients of each grain.
